EAST BALTIMORE HOUSING
East Baltimore is undergoing radical change.  Historically, East Baltimore suffered high vacancy and the area became blighted.  But over the past few years, the area has begun to revitalize.   The EBDI, or East Baltimore Development is a part of an 80 acre redevelopment directly adjacent to Johns Hopkins Hosptial on the north side of the Hospital.  You can see on the map below that the Hospital is circled in Blue.   Everything North and East is or will be new construction - web labs, biotech office buildings, retail and housing.  

As a results of this ongoing $2 Billion development - people are rethinking where to live.  East Baltimore has significant amount of quality housing stock.  Skyline Properties is leading the charge by developing hundreds of rehabiliated homes for rent and ultimately resale.  

With a new elementary school, new infrastructure - broadband, gas and water lines, new streets, etc. This will become the place to live going forward.
